On -/-/- I notified Citibank by phone of fraudulent activity resulting from a balance transfer check that posted on -/-/-. At that time I was informed there was nothing further I need to do. Citibank representative said I would receive notification of dispute within a short time period, and they would issue a new credit card. On -/-/- I called Citibank again to confirm dispute was in process, and tried to obtain an address to send written notification and I requested a copy of my credit card agreement. After insisting on speaking to a manger so I could be provided the exact address of where to write in order to file a formal dispute, - ( a supervisor ) came on the line and gave me a PO Box tht was not the same as what I found out later should be used. As of the writing of this complaint, I have only been provided a copy of a somewhat illegible credit card agreement, and have not been provided with any written confirmation of my dispute, and they have not sent me a new credit card " in order protect the integrity of the account ''. I sent registered return receipt letters to - different Postal Boxes that I was given from various personnel and correspondence with Citi, and I have acknowledgment of receipt dated -/-/-. As of this evening, there is nothing on the website for my account that shows the account is in dispute, and I have not received any sort of acknowledgement of it either, and I have a payment due on -/-/-. The company stated that they could not provide me with the name of the company or person that the fraudulent check was paid to.
