Hello Team, I recently applied for a Huntington bank voice Credit card upon a invitation call from the bank representative in - MI branch. After i visited the branch and provided all information she went ahead with processing my application. After sometime she came back to me stating my application is rejected as I am not a US citizen. I have many different credit cards and I have been living here since 3 years on a work visa. I have an excellent credit score. I want to know : 1 ) Is it legal for banks to reject Credit card application even if the person 's credit score is excellent and has furnished all his documents to bank.


This has left me with a shock on why my credit card application was rejected due to citizenship even if I am a tax paying, law abiding person legally living and working in US. - The bank invited me and processed my application taking my 30 minutes just to answer back that my application is rejected. This is disgusting and very frustrating. I want your help for the matter to be investigated and proper justification from bank. thanks -
