I had opened a Baclays Bank Visa card through an offer from - in -. I recently noticed that even though I do n't use the card much and pay every month, My balance does not go down much. I realized that I am paying a gigantic 22.4 % in interest when the - rate is near - and the mortgage rates are around 4 %. As a result, I am paying well over $200.00 every month in interest and it hurts me financially. I spoke to the bank -/-/- to lower the rate and they offered 18.4 % going forward and said that because the - is raising rates, they have no flexibility to offer any other lower rates. I have - - and this is outrageous for a bank to do to a consumer. Please help me get a lower, reasonable rate of interest from this bank.
