We appreciate your taking time form your busy day to advise us on this minor detail. In 2013, we paid our credit card balance ( less than $100.00 ) 30 days late. Now, going on four years later - this late payment remains as the one and only late payment in our entire credit history spanning decades and 100s of creditors. The negative impact of this singular and isolated incident on our credit, on our cost of insurance, on our cost of borrowing - goes far beyond any reasonable penalty for such a minor infraction. Further, continued reporting of this issue contributes nothing to the intended purpose of such reporting, i.e.,


We have made several attempts over these years to request assistance from Chase - each time, receiving a different and purposefully ambiguous reason for their inability to make sense out of this non-sense.
