I was living in - for a few month taking care of my - mother. American Express cancel my membership because it was past due for a few months. I have no access to gmail in -, and was n't made aware of this situation. When I came back to the States, I immediately contacted American Express and offer to pay my annual fees and request them to retro activate my account and give back the - plus points.
