Other

Citibank Credit card department,

Massachusetts

Received threatening voicemail from a - - from - - - stating she would be going to my place of work ( within the hour ), if I was n't available, she would find out from someone when I would be, then she would be going to my home, and then to a relatives home. I called them back. They would not tell me anything until I verified the last - digits of my ss number. ( She stated ( " it is public information anyway " ) I did so I could get info. Said I had an outstanding debt with Citibank. Offered me 3 options or court. I told them court. She told me " Good luck ''. I then called CFPB and spoke to - who instructed me to call Citibank and verify their credit debt collector. I called Citibank and spoke to - who after researching my ss number found I had never had an account with them and also verified that they do not use - - -. Called CFPB back and spoke to - who instructed me to file complaint.
