Before travelling to -, I notified Chase of the upcoming travel. During the trip, I had transactions denied when trying to purchase my train ticket and the access to my account was suspended. The card has been fully paid each month, there are absolutely no debts of any kind. Because of that, during the trip I had no way to check my account for any suspicious activity. I - to Chase and they were not helpful, asked me to call overseas. On - -, attempting to regain access to my account, I stayed on the phone with customer service for 20 minutes, had to verify my Social Security, Security Questions and also confirm a secret number sent to my mobile phone. I had to give enough information to even open a new account. Even after all that, my account was not reactivated. From - - to - - ( over 2 weeks ), I was left with no access to my account. Chase never contacted me to fix this.

I replied they had information that I 'd be in -, so my account should not be suspended when accessed from -. - On - -, I was accused of never including a travel notification, and that was the reason my account was suspended. I replied with the Travel Notification confirmation that I received. - On - -, Chase blamed Visa for denying the transaction and informed I 'd need to reprocess it. I tried at least twice. Again, Chase informed my device was accessed from a unknown device, even though I informed many times they had information I 'd be in -, and I was trying to access my account from -. Chase informed they wo n't offer any compensation, of any kind, for all these issues. These problems happened for a premium credit card that already charged me $450.00 in annual fee.
