I sent in the payment that was due for the month. The payment contained a little extra with a note, " apply excess to Loan -. '' Instead of applying the amount due to each separate loan and the extra to this specific loan, it applied it all to Loan -. We received calls saying that it was past due and asking to collect. When asked the last payment they could see that it was improperly applied. We were then told to change where we sent the money and to add the -- at the end of the payment so that it would be applied to all. The -- has already been added as requested earlier as this has happened exactly the same way for the last 5 months. We had been told to send it to the Exceptions Center and that this should solve the problem. We have been doing that. We are now being told that we should send it the regular processing center with -- and that should solve the problem. Yet, we already send it with -- and it is still not processed appropriately. This has been a recurring problem since - 's payment was mis-applied.


stated they would make sure the check was applied correctly after we filed a complain previously, and yet that was never done for that month. Even after following what she told us to do to do, the problem continues. We feel harassed. We get the calls on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Several times the representatives have refused to speak to those authorized on the account and asked for personal information that was not necessary to give over the phone. The most recent representative who called to collect was respectful and did try to help. His information did contradict what was given previously. It seems as if they would prefer us to not pay extra to solve the problem. We understand we can only pay a little extra now, and yet do not want to be penalized for paying extra.
