Experian Credit Reporting Complaint

Incorrect information on credit report account status

Experian Credit reporting department,

Incorrect information on credit report Account status Kansas

The reason for this complaint is that Experian do not have the correct information on my credit report regarding my mortgage with - - - - - -. After several written requests, they no longer even investigate the inaccuracies. I am asking the CFPB to review the written evidence provided. If I am correct, I am asking the CFPB to assist me in making sure my credit reports with Experian is accurate. I purchased a home in - - for $130000.00. My mortgage was serviced by - - - until late -. - was selected as my new servicer as a result of the - Settlement in early -/-/-. I was not able to make payments to - - - from - - until - - and - from - - until - - when a mortgage modification was approved.

called my bank to request that a wire be sent for the amount of the three initial trial modification payments to -. - confirmed receipt of the funds less than three days later. The offer letter is included, the page of the bank statement that shows the payment for three months of the $210.00 monthly payment ( total of $650.00 ) and the relevant part of my credit reports that show the - payment history are included. The mortgage modification agreement specified that I make payments of $210.00 on or before -/-/-, -/-/- and -/-/-. All three months of payments were made on -/-/- via a wire of $650.00. Trial modification payments are held in suspense accounts for the three months. During that time, no negative data should be reported to credit bureaus. Instead, - reported that -, - and - - payments were at least 120 days late with Experian and -, - and - - were not reported at all. I am asking that the CFPB look at the modification offer, the copy of my - - bank statement and the Experian relevant entries regarding my credit that I have enclosed. I believe that Federal law requires that information from creditors be reported accurately to credit bureaus. I have made all payment starting from - - until today on time based on the offer from -. If I am correct in my reasoning, I believe that it would be fair to have my credit report show either on-time payments beginning - - until today or -, -, - - showing no entry and - - until today should show on time payments on - of my credit bureaus. I previously have contacted Experian and provided them the same information I have provided the CFPB. Experian contacted - and left the data unchanged since it was " verified '' as correct. I asked how it was verified and the credit bureaus stated that they contacted -. I do not understand how a reasonable person can see the information provided and state that my credit report is correct. I have enclosed proof that my payments were made on time. Please correct my report to reflect the dates I paid on time. I am not asking you to delete the dates where I paid late before - -, just to have the information reflect the accurate truth.
