I was a victim of predatory lending at - - - - and am being harassed by Navient and - for over $260000.00 in student loans. - was never able to finish my degree as they never told me that they were in financial trouble, were unable to retain the -. When they were ready to file for bankruptcy, they sold their non-profit college to - which was a for profit college. They did not request permission to sell the non-profit college to a for profit business, which requires approval of the Attorney General. They did this behind the AG 's back and it was too late to unwind the deal as it would have hurt all of the currently enrolled students. I was in the - and could not get - for weeks and sometimes months at a time while being billed for dorms and other expenses including classes that I took only for the credits, as I could not get in the -.. Due to the sale of the school, many of their - quit shortly after. They just kept telling me they needed more and more money and kept penalizing me for not completing the training on time despite the considerable delays that they were responsible for. When my father & I went to a meeting with -, - - told my Dad he could not guarantee any improvement in securing -, and he did not recommend that we give any further funds to - - - - because he and all of the - were given " pink slips '' with out termination dates on them from -. He had no idea what was going to happen next. Soon thereafter, the Attorney General apparently stopped - from shutting down the - I ended up having to go to Florida to complete my training at - in -. I have never received my transcript because - wanted me to pay them additional funds to receive it.
