TransUnion Intermediate Holdings, Inc. Credit Reporting Complaint

Credit monitoring or identity protection receiving unwanted marketing/advertising

TransUnion Intermediate Holdings, Inc. Credit reporting department,

Credit monitoring or identity protection Receiving unwanted marketing/advertising Texas

When requesting the government mandated annual free credit report via Transunion 's toll-free number -, 4 attempts are made to sell services to unsuspecting callers. First attempt is to sell you a credit score ( 1 for yes, 2 for decline ), then they follow up to ask if you 're sure ( 1 for yes, 2 for decline ), and then two attempts to sell credit monitoring servicing. As someone who works in finance, this is fine, but for many consumers this can be very confusing and lead to payment of unwanted services.
