In -/-/2016 I received a credit monitoring alert that I had a delinquent account. The account was - bank showing a 30 day late. I had a credit balance and had a paper statement showing that. I contacted - and was told that I had a credit balance and was not late. I asked them to send a check for the credit balance and to change the delinquent status with the bureaus. They said they would investigate and send me a written response. They did send a letter which stated they were reporting the account correctly. I filed a dispute with Transunion and received timely acknowledgement back from them. In -/-/- I received another credit monitoring alert showing a 60 day late with - Bank. On -/-/2016 I received a letter from Transunion with the final investigation details which show a current status on - Bank. I thought the issue was behind me. Until -/-/- when I received another credit monitoring alert showing a 30 day late with -. I called and was told that I had a - balance and that I was not late. I asked that the reporting issue be corrected and that I receive written verification of such. I have not heard from them. I had also asked that my account be closed. This has been an exhausting, time consuming and frustrating experience. My credit score has been affected which makes me very unhappy as I have never been late with a payment and maintained a high score. In reviewing the credit report that Transunion sent, - Bank is showing - accounts for me - I only have and have ever had - account with -. There is something very messed up between - and the credit bureaus.
