Back in -, I had a $300.00 loan with Ace Cash Express where I paid this company back using an debt consolidation company. Yesterday, - -, - I received a notice from a - - -, address -, CA -, stating that they are going to sue me on behalf of Ace Cash Express in the amount of $840.00 for a payday loan for $500.00 when I advised him that I never had a loan with Ace for $500.00 and that the $300.00 loan was paid back in - and that I am requesting documentation stating that I had a loan for that amount along with the bank account and contract that I had this loan, the man refused stating that he will not give me any documentation that they will be using in court against me that I have the option to pay them or be sued. I advised him that he is violating my rights with the Fair Debt Collection Act, I am entitled to that documentation and that he is violating my rights. He disconnected the line. The phone number is -, I also googled this number and there is several complaints of fraud listed under this phone number where they were scammed out of money.
