Incorrect information on credit report account status

Incorrect information on credit report Account status Maryland

If what I 'm addressing is not considered a valid " complaint '', I certainly would like for you to explain why and what actions I can take to change this reporting. Yes, I filed Chapter - Bankruptcy in - - and was discharged in - - and yes, I did include my mortgage company - based on my attorney 's request for documentation on ALL monies owed. He said I would be able to " keep '' my condo and I was within the law to do so. What I do n't like is my credit report is showing this account as " included in bankruptcy '', which is correct, but my account with - as " closed '' which is incorrect, thus nothing is being reported pertaining to my mortgage payments. I have never been late on any mortgage payments nor have I ever missed a payment and this is not the first property I 've owned. Regardless of whether the " law '' requires it to be reported this way, it should also be required to report that " this owner continues to pay her mortgage in a timely manner '' and the mortgage company should be

law '' I no longer owe this debt, but this is an FHA backed loan and I am a somewhat intelligent - year old senior, who has absolutely no intentions of " leaving her home '' nor stiffing FHA. If I would have been told by my attorney that I would lose my Condo, I would have told him " well, we can forget the bankruptcy, and the credit card companies, and those I owed medical expenses to for myself and veterinarian bills after my dog who had to have - in -, would just have to sue me in court, because I would not put myself out on the street. Once again I say, if that is the way the laws are written and reported where Bankruptcy is concerned, then I 'm asking you to inform me as to what I can do to get my true record reported, as it stood then and still does today, also reported on my credit report at the same intervals they were reported previously by the mortgage company. I 'm not asking that the record of Bankruptcy be removed, that 's a matter of public record, but I am asking that how I continue to pay my obligation be reported as " true '' credit reporting.
