I got notice that a collections was placed on my - credit report by IC Systems. Upon review, I found out that it 's the same account and amount that I had previously requested to be removed from my credit report. It appears that IC Systems has re-reported the same debt after they 've confirmed that it will be removed from my credit report. Attached are my - credit report dated - - which shows entry of collections account from IC Systems, -/-/- letter to IC Systems asking them to validate the debt, -/-/- letter from IC Systems stating they will remove the account from my credit report, recent - credit report dated - - showing that IC Systems has reported the same debt for collections. I have sent a dispute to TransUnion for this account. This debt arose from identity theft when my purse was stolen in - - ( in support of this, attached is the police report ).
