Barclay Bank charged interest fees on interest only balance. Account balance was paid off $ - then bill was sent showing a new balance due to interest of $6.00, a $10.00 payment was made, however on next statement there was $.00 in interest charged. My understanding is that it is no legal to charge interest on interest and believe this is a violation of the unfair and deceptive act that could be affecting many of their other customers.
