I have submitted a complaint about - -. After I submitted the complaint, they left an even more derogatory response than the one originally. Also, began the process of collections. I sent a check a long time ago to - - after an argument that lead to me asking my account be closed. The check was the total pay off amount. This was roughly a little over ago. Now, this was with the understanding during the argument that if I paid off the account we 'd call it " even '' and this account would be closed is perfect standing and no late payment if not able to be removed in full. I was told - different things after being escalated to a supervisor. However, both worked in a manner of leaving a full positive remark of no mark at all. This is extremely unfair and causing financial issues as I 'm going into adulthood. It 's hard to find an apartment, I ca n't get a car loan, and I do n't even get to take out any credit to get the car I have fixed. It 's upsetting because I was - when I opened it and I had no idea to keep track of all supporting documents. I did n't even think something like this wa possible. I have no control over my own credit report. Instead I have to state my case and pray justice is served.
