Greetings, today I received my statement from Barclsycard and noticed how high my interest rate is. I 've been paying on this credit card fir a white, without any other purchases. Yet the amount owning is not going down, so I spoke to a manager named - who could n't answer my question as to why they could n't lower my interest rate. - then transferred me to - supervisor who basically gave he the same bull. They gave my interest rate at 22.4 %. Which I find outrageous. They make it impossible for consumers to pay off the debt by keeping the interest rate high. When asked why they could n't lower my interest rate? I was told they could explain why. I 'm requesting that Barclaycard lower my interest rate immediately. I have been a great customer to barclaycard, I have never been Late on my payment. I was told by the sales agent when I applied for the credit card that my interest rate would be 10 % because of my great credit score. I found out later that was a Lie. I 'm requesting that Barclaycard lower my interest rate, so I can get this credit card paid off. The account number ending in -.
