I contacted Chase ( JP Morgan Chase and Co ) on -/-/16 and was told that the total balance was $6900.00. This amount was paid on -/-/2016 and Chase was instructed to close the account. The account remained opened and purchase interest charges were assessed on -/-/2016 and -/-/2016. There is now a balance of $72.00 on an account that was suppose to be closed after the final payment was made.
