Amex Credit Card Complaint

Customer service / Customer relations

Amex Credit card department,

Customer service / Customer relations North Carolina

- - has frozen all of my accounts ( which were established in -/-/- ) and would like to perform a financial review, however they wo n't release what caused the financial review and in general seem to be very secretive on the process. They are asking to review tax forms released to - through IRS form - ( which they are requiring the customer to fill and sign ), however they do not state how the information will be used once obtained or what information will be used once obtained. - - is also basically forcing this review to occur - if you do n't comply then they blacklist you which could lead to the loss of accounts at all other financial institutions. I think the customer should have a choice, and if you choose not to release all your financial information to - - ( which is very nosy of them, considering they wo n't even tell you why! ), then it should n't affect any relationship besides - -.

How will the information be used by - and - -? What information does - share with - -? What information does - share with other third parties and how do I limit this sharing? What information does - - share with other third parties and how do I limit this sharing? How long does - and - - store the information that is collected? How is it stored? Does the information collected get merged with my - credit report in any way? If so, what information gets incorporated with the credit report and how long does it remain on the credit report? If the information gets stored or merged with my credit report, what happens after my taxes are filed for -/-/- since I received a raise in -/-/-, which means reported income in -/-/- will be higher than the income stated on my - tax return?
