Amex Credit Card Complaint

Rewards

Amex Credit card department,

Rewards Texas

I applied and received an AME- with a bonus of - bonus points after $3000.00 spend was met. My spend was met on - -, 2016, and my points posted on - -, 2016. I have tried and called several times to get my points transferred to my airline of choice. I was told that the points would be credited -8 weeks after the spend was met. My points have credited. I ca n't spend my points. I was told it would be -8 weeks. It has been over 8 weeks since my spend was me. I have been told by over - people at AMe- that my dates for available points were, - -, - -, - -, - - and - -. I have attempted to get my points transferred to no avail. However, I AM able to use them as credit on my statement. As seen in the attachment where they credited them back for me. My points should be available for use now. As of today -/-/16, I again spoke with someone else who has informed me that every time I attempt to transfer my points, it pushes me further down the line for my points to be available. Really? What kind of reward is this. I paid $450.00 membership for a rewards card that I ca n't get my rewards on. Also today, the conversation I had with the representative from AME- informed me it 's -8 weeks from the time my $3000.00 spend is paid off. REALLY?? that was no where in my membership agreement. I know my balance was paid, but that does n't have any bearing on when my points should be able to be transferred. Stories are being made up on a daily basis. The attachment shows charges added through - - went way over the $3000.00 spend ( not including the $450.00 membership fee.
