On - - 2016, I paid off the balance of my account of - . At that point on - - I had a - balance on the account. 3 weeks later, there was a finance charge assessed to the account of about - . Thinking I had paid this off, I did n't use the account again and put that cred card in a drawer. 5 months later I get letter in the mail saying that they were closing my account and it was past due - . They kept penalizing for a residual finance charge. I was never contacted about any sort of late payment by phone, text or email Every other credit card company I have ever dealt with has always contacted me and to let it go 5 months with out contacting me is crazy! Not only that but every other credit card company waves residual finance charges. I 'd have been more than happy to pay the - finance charge, but they did n't inform me that they made a charge to my account ... by even something as a statement.
