Discover Credit card department,
DISCOVER card member since -. Paid off balance after about 5 years. Restarted using card thereafter. Failed to notice exact time we were receiving double charges for " purchases '' and " cash advances ''. We have never used any credit card for cash advances. Contacted DISCOVER numerous times throughout the years, received no satisfaction, only excuses. Early this year - - ), we were finally notified to contact their Fraud division. In telephone conversations, Discover Fraud found in our favor and sent us a letter stating so. No remedies have been applied to our account despite the letter. Unfortunately for us, we do not have the original account bill when/where the error first occurred. We believe it to be an encoding error that has cost us literally - in interest charges. We have complained to Discover representatives on numerous occasions to no avail.
