Dear CFP : Here 's my situation : I had - home phone and internet service -/-/--/-/- ( -, PA - ) and as internet was non-functional, I cancelled my plan and account. After this cancellation, I spoke to various - departments explaining the non-working Internet situation ( while on phone, - was successful in locating tech service calls to my apartment and inability to get Internet working properly ) and was told my account would be credited for the remaining balance of $140.00. Unfortunately, the - staff responsible for making this happen, failed and my credit report is again being UNLAWFULLY hit by a debt collection company named " Debt Recovery Solution '' ( pdf attached ). Here 's the interesting part of this : - I 've called - wanting to follow up with my account status and ask to have what was promised to me years ago, finally done.


'll gladly take the $140.00. ) - I call -, again, explain the situation, and they, again, refer me to the debt collection agency because my account is " not in their system ''. - I 've also disputed this on my credit report earlier this year, and " Debt Recovery Solution '' mysteriously disappeared from my credit report. - -/-/- : My credit reports are hit, again, now with both - and Debt Recovery Solution and charge mysteriously reappears. Neither company can help clear this up and as services were n't provided, and as - promised to credit my account -/-/- for the $140.00, my credit is suffering from both companies inability ( and unwillingness ) to correct. So I 'm hoping CFP can not only mediate and have corrected but will also prevent either company from touching my credit reports for this item. My former - account home address : - - - - - -, PA -
