Discover Credit card department,
Discover card is reporting a negative account that I was previously listed as an authorized user on. As an authorized user I am not responsible for the account in any way, yet they are damaging my credit. I have called them to dispute the account and requested them to remove it, but all they tell me is that I 'm no longer listed on the account so there is n't anything they can do about it. They placed it on my credit, but refuse to remove it. According to section 603 of the FCRA, only information on credit issued to a consumer is allowed. If you are an authorized user, you do not fall under these categories, you are not responsible for the debt and did not receive credit.
