I have contacted Applied bank several times about this account and I have also called them. They told me this account was sold to a Denovus corporation. Well I asked them if they are able to contact this company and ask them to call me. So finally the company called and I gave them the information about the credit card and I informed them that I had been a victim of identity theft and fraud and that this was not my account. But instead they insisted that it was so instead of arguing trying to get the information take off my credit I told them if we came to a settlement agreement I would pay the account off in full and I would then want this account deleted from my credit. Well - told me that I could pay her $410.00 plus another - to pay for delete. I told her if I pay the - you should delete it off anyway without me having to pay. Then she said and it will take us 45 days to delete it. I told her no I am not paying you to delete it off my account and I am not waiting 45 days. She said well that is the only way you will get it done or are you refusing to pay. I told her well to be honest I do n't have to pay it because I was a victim of Identity theft and fraud and its really not my account. so it should already be deleted without me having to pay anything. A letter was sent to you from my attorney and you ignored it and I sent in affidavit to you also and you ignored it so I am calling to either ask you to delete it or make a settlement arrangement and you telling me that you ca n't do it. she said no we cant. I said ok then I am refusing to pay until you can tell me you will go ahead and delete it I am not paying it.
