I applied for a 0 % - transfer credit card with Capital One, I was planing on using it to transfer a credit card balance of -. I was approved for -. I called them once I got the card to make the transfer, I was told I had to wait - days. When I called after 10 days I was told there was no balance transfer offer approved for me, this was news to me! I called back and spoke to a different person who told me I did have the transfer offer on my account, so I just made the minimum payment on my other -. When I called back to initiate the transfer I was told again there was no such offer for my account. have a credit score in the neighborhood of -, besides my mortgage this would be my only debt. I have a networth of of over -, so not a highrisk customer. Because of there missrepresantation I ended up having to pay interest on my othercard which I could have avoided if Capital one had honored the offer I was approved for.
