There is NO option for cancelling the credit monitoring service on the online portal. When I searched and finally found the telephone number to call the call was routed to an overseas call center where I could barely understand the representative and TransUnion makes every attempt to thwart cancellation of the credit monitoring service. I provided my login, my order number, my name, my DOB but I refuse to provide my Soc. Sec. Number. This should have been more than enough information for them to cancel the NEVER disclosed ongoing charges but they refused. I finally hung up because I could not understand the representative and all she was doing was going round in circles asking for more personal information, or in other words 'phishing. ' Transunion NEVER disclosed this was an ongoing " service '' and refuses to cancel the account without me disclosing far too much information. More it seems that I had to disclose to sign up for their " Service. ''
