After checking my credit report there was a line showing an open account with Synchrony Bank/Amazon with a balance of over $1000.00, but only reporting to - credit bureau. I contacted the company asking them to update and remove the account. They said the debt had been verified as mine, because I had disputed it before and never received a letter of validation, the company also would n't disclose when they sent the letter of validation, and has never attempted to contact me to continue to collect on the debt that is supposedly owed.
