Amex Credit Card Complaint

American Express Blue Preferred Cash back Credit Card promised me a $200.00 bonus if I spent $1000.00 on their card. They will not give me my bonus. I have complained, and their response is that I had a card previously and that disqualifies me for a bonus. That point was not in the terms of the card agreement that I read online. They mailed me a card agreement for a different offer and tried to pass it off as my credit card offer. They stated that they are reviewing my case, but no one will contact me. I made the requisite charges, I should get the bonus. They easily could have told me I would not get the bonus when I applied for the card.
