I was solicited by Chase to apply for for their new Slate card that offers very good terms o balance sheet. I read the reviews and it appeared to be a very solid card. I even scanned the terms and conditions. I applied for the card only to realize that they will not transfer balances on other Chase accounts or cards. This should be made very clear up front. I immediately closed the account and have tarnished my credit score because of it.
