This complaint is regarding Citi Credit Card, the issuer of - credit card 's unfair and deceptive acts. - varying amounts were charged to Citi/- Credit Card in conjunction to - deferred interest promotion. The first amount of $1300.00 charged to Citi/- Card on - -, - was the initial payment toward the Bathroom ( tub replacement ) at my - - - and the remaining balance of $2800.00 was charged to the same Citi/- Card on - -, - when the job was completed. A new charge for a bedding in the amount of $700.00 was charged to this Citi/- card on - -, - and a the last purchase in amount of $1300.00 for electronic equipment/accessories was charged to this same Citi/- card on - -, -. The subject of this dispute is how my monthly payments under the deferred interest promo was applied towards this Citi/- account. I understand that any payment made will first be applied towards the oldest account ( the account whose promo date ends first. With the exception of accounts that are


the accounts that are not in dispute, Citi/- has acted unfairly and in a deceptive manner by continuing to apply my payments towards paying down the amount in dispute. Adding insult to injury, Citi - continues to levy interest charges when there is no late payments whatsoever that would trigger such interest charges to be added. Based on my calculations, The entire amount that is not in dispute is all paid -up way ahead of the promo 's end dates. In fact, there is an overpayment which will have to be applied towards the amount in dispute bringing the amount in dispute from $ $2800.00 per Citi/- records down to $2200.00. This is the amount that I have to pay once - - - has made the necessary repairs/to the bathroom. Henceforth, no more payments will be made since all amounts have been paid ( and overpaid ) leaving the disputed amount open and said amount in dispute will be paid upon completion/resolution of the matter that is the subject of the dispute.
