I have not been able to obtain accurate account information from Navient over the past 2+ months. The problem started when I noticed that the Navient website contains account information that has an " Estimated Payment Schedule '' which lists the loan start and end payment date, and the " Total Amount to be Repaid ''. On my loan - the website states that my " Total Amount to be Repaid '' is $55000.00. The problem is - I have paid to date $63000.00 - which is almost $ - more than they are stating I will have to pay over the life of the loan. So either there is a mistake on my account - and my account balance should be - - or the numbers on their website are grossly incorrect. Note that the total I have paid to date is calculated from the Navient website with their information - and I have confirmed this is what I have paid.


my " Total Amount to be Repaid '' ( $55000.00 ) is the correct number and they have confirmed ( multiple times! ) that it is. And yet, I have paid more than that - and my account still shows that I owe - $12000.00 - so there is something very clearly wrong. This has led to a lot of stress and work on my end. It is also *exceptionally* concerning that a lender who is responsible for millions ( maybe billions ) of dollars in loans - ca n't provide timely and accurate account information. Are they willfully misleading consumers - or can they not do math? Or have I overpaid on my loan? Do I have to keep paying? Someone please help! Thanks!
