My vehicle was financed through Volvo Car Finance. I made my payments for several years through their website, Volvocarfinance.com. The website was shutdown. I have not received any communications whatsoever and did not know where to make my payments. I called Volvo Finance and they had no record of my account. After two full days of phone calls and research, I found that my vehicle was actually financed through -. I was then able to make a payment through their phone line. I made my last payment in - and found that I have $3600.00 remaining. This is for interest due to a period of time when I was late making payments due to hardship. I called yesterday to question this and was told when I was late making my payment, the payment went to interest only and no principle. I was also told I will be charged - per day until this amount is paid off. The gentleman I spoke with was extremely rude. My car was financed for 7 years at $750.00 per month which was - on my part. I am upset because I was not told when getting extensions, late paying, etc., that I was not


all ... Not through the mail, email, or phone calls. I have tracked them down. I asked the gentleman yesterday to send me a statement and an amortization schedule. I do not even know where to send a payment. The automated phone system is for monthly payments and tells me there is no amount due. The amount of $3600.00 seems excessive to me for being late on some payments. I was also deceived by not knowing what company my vehicle was financed through. Although, there was a period of time during the 7 year loan I was late paying, I got through that time and have been making regular payments, and paid the car off on time.
