JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit Card Complaint

Late fee

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,

Late fee Texas

I opened a Chase Slate card late last year. I 've been paying 3-4 times the amount due each month. The last two months I rec 'd notice ( in an email and text ) that my payment was due. When this happened to me this past month I decided to sign on to their app to make sure I had actually paid. I found that I had made the following payments ... - - $60.00, - - $200.00, - - $130.00, - - $200.00, - - $300.00, - - $100.00 AND I had - late charges ( - - $25.00, - - $35.00 and - - $35.00 ). When I called to find out what was going on and to see if I could have these late charges waived, I was told they could waive - and that the late charges were occurring b/c I was paying too EARLY! They claimed I had made my payment before the

making money. Responsible people may WANT to pay their bills early and should not be penalized. I work for - as a - and know good and well they have the capability to look back to a prior month to check for early payments. This really needs to be looked into as I feel they are taking advantage of honest people who want to pay their bills on time. ( Someone also needs to check this text box. When I type, only - characters appear on each line. The rest may appear once I submit but they disappear on your web page. )
