-/-/-, we have contacted Chase at the auto service line -, had numerous conversations with customer specialist to obtain duplicate copy of the title for our paid off auto loan from -/-/-. Without the pink slip/title, we are unable to sell or get rid of the car. There were so many back and forth with the customer service line, them telling us one thing after another, and nothing really being resolved. They kept mentioning about California State being complicating and finally gave me a name. With that, Chase representative told us to fax the request and we did to the specific fax line on -/-/- and have never heard anything back. We now have a ticket from the police to fix the license plate for the car, but we are stuck because we can not get the plate ordered through the DMV due to pending of this title. Chase needs to provide the pink slip or the release of title. They have failed to follow through on numerous occasion. Even though this is a closed account/loan, they have the responsibility to provide all the necessary documents to release the the title and resolve this with DMV ( department of motor vehicle ).
