PayPal Holdings, Inc. Credit Card Complaint

Unsolicited issuance of credit card

PayPal Holdings, Inc. Credit card department,

Unsolicited issuance of credit card New York

I made a purchase through PayPal which I expected to go onto my regular credit card like all of my prior usages of PayPal, but instead I was given a PayPal Credit account. Also, a monthly payment I had begun to - - was billed to this PayPal Credit account ( the following month, and ever since, this - fee has been correctly billed to my credit card ). When I received the first notice that I had a PayPal Credit account, I immediately wrote PayPal that I did not want such an account ; they replied by telling me what a wonderful account it was. I was then out of the country for 6 months. Upon my return, I find that original purchase of $6.00 ( plus the - charge of $21.00 which was wrongly billed to this account ) is now considered to be a debt of $170.00 and has been turned over to a collection agency. I called PayPal and they said that there was nothing they could do. They are deceitful crooks. I refuse to condone this obscene usury and will never pay these fraudulent charges.
