I am emailing you in regards to a deceptive health-care credit card enrollment with CareCredit I am a victim of the CareCredit deceptive Health-Care Credit Card Enrollment scam and need your help! After doing research, I have found several major articles from both - and your website in regards to several other victims of the same scandal. What happened in these articles is - what they did to me. - : - - - In - of -, I went to a doctors office to pay for a medical procedure. I had planned on paying the entire balance out of pocket, but the woman who handles their billing offered a much better alternative. She suggested signing up for CareCredit instead because I could make payments on the balance without paying any interest!! What an amazing deal it sounded like so of course I signed up immediately. I was mislead into thinking I was signing up for an interest-free line of credit. Little did I know, that at some given

My initial balance was $5300.00 My account was set to auto-pay so each month it was taken care of without me needing to check. Over a given time period, the amount was paid down to $3500.00. Sometime around the end of -, my balance skyrocketed with no notice or explanation to the amount of $6600.00!! A $3000.00 increase! I 'm not sure exactly when this happened as the records they provide me via their website and from requested statements in the mail will not show any transactions prior to - -. The reason I noticed the change this year is because I have credit monitoring through -. My credit score changed due to an increase of credit usage from this. The new total is now MORE than the initial loan amount that I took out several years ago. In addition to the astronomical balloon increase, they have now been charging me an interest amount that 's nearly the same as the monthly bill payment. When I login to their website and click to view ALL transactions, it does not show anything prior to -/-/-. The last transaction they show me is - when they did a balance transfer. I 'm assuming that might be when they changed from using GE to Synchrony Bank, and coincidentally around the same time period in which my account began having issues. I would have NEVER agreed to this credit loan had I been informed that years down the road of making payments, that my debt would skyrocket to an amount higher than the original loan, have - added on, AND an interest payment that 's almost the same amount as the bill payment. I called the doctors office -, in which I originally signed up at and requested to speak to the woman who handled the contract. She would not return my phone calls. I then called CareCredit directly and have requesting information on what my contract details were. They were not able to provide the requested information to me. I then requested a copy of every statement for my account be sent via mail. They only only sent statements from - - and nothing prior to that date. On their website, it does not show transactions or statements prior to - -. They have not complied to provide a copy of my contract information or complete statements. As a reminder, I came into the doctors office ready to pay for the whole procedure out of pocket. Had I known at any point this would happen, I would have never signed up for the contract OR at least made sure to pay off the complete balance before it increase. Their sign up process is completely deceptive, misleading, and a sca
