My name is - - -, and I have had - joint account opened with Chase for almost 10 years. The last - of my credit card is -. I never had any issues ; never behind or late on my account. I have always value my relationship with Chase. Recently I discovered that my account had been closed ( back in - ), but the closing was unauthorized. I never received any type of letter that confirmed the closing or else I would have responded in order to correct or dispute the information. This was my very - credit card, and I would have never attempted to close my account under any circumstances. I called in and spoke to a representative to find out what happened with my account. The representative informed me that it was closed, and it could 've happened by mistake, but I would have to speak with her supervisor to get the account re-opened. Her supervisor - came to the line, stated that the previous rep gave me incorrect information and states that nothing can be done to re-open the account whether it was or was n't a mistake. He states that it was closed


he claims that his supervisor wont be available until after -, and if he was available he would n't allow me to speak with him, because he has everything under control and his supervisor would n't be able to help me anyway. After I informed him that I was going to report his attitude and unprofessionalism to the executive office, then he allegedly transferred me to a miscellaneous extension that was not his supervisor extension. It ended up disconnecting the call. I do n't deserve to be treated like this. I did not use any type of profanity nor did I raise my voice during the call. I attempted to handle the conversation in a very professional manner, however I was treated with any type of dignity or respect. The supervisor was very rude, and cold hearted when it came to assisting me. He never attempted to see if the closing was performed by mistake or if the person who called in was even authorized to take matters into their hands to close my account. I would like for my account to be re-opened, because I never authorized for it to be closed, and I do value my relationship with Chase.
