- -, - Navient -, PA - Re. Account # - Dear Sir/Madam : I am writing to dispute the following information in my file. I have circled the items I dispute on the attached copy of the report I received. In - -, I contacted - - and requested an In School Deferment. - - granted the Deferment commencing in - - and concluding in - -. In - -, Navient took over my private loan account from - -. No information was ever relayed to me regarding this split by - -. As a result of this split, my information concerning my In School Deferment was never relayed to Navient. My account was not updated and Navient was not able to process the In School Deferment.


In - -, my co-borrower, contacted and alerted me that he was being harassed by Navient collection agency through telephone calls and threatening letters. On - -, -, I contacted Navient who informed me that they did not send out any threatening letters. The representative explained that they had taken over the account from - - and 120 days had elapsed since any payments were made to the account. It should be noted that at no time was I ever alerted by Navient or - - that my account was 120 days delinquent. Moreover, my In School Deferment ended in - -, yet Navient continued to provide inaccurate information to the - credit bureaus. Upon learning of this alleged delinquency, I set up a monthly payment plan in order to bring my account current. As of today, I have made the required monthly payments and my account is in good standing. I am very distressed that you have included the attached information in my credit profile due to its damaging effects on my good credit standing. Because of the mistakes, my co-borrower and I have been wrongfully denied credit which was highly embarrassing and has negatively impacted our lifestyles. Please reinvestigate this matter and delete this information from my credit report as soon as possible.
