I had a safe deposit box for about 15 years at Wells Fargo Bank in -, T- ( Specifically it was the branch at - - -, -, T- - - Safe deposit box - ). I was told when I first paid for the SD box that I would receive my deposit back as long as I return both keys to them when I relinquish the box. Last year, I relinquished the box and returned both keys to them. The representative told me, " Just sign this paperwork and I will get you your deposit back. I signed the paper which said that I have received the deposit back. At first, I was hesitant about this, but the representative assured me that he would return my deposit. So, I signed the paperwork. As soon as I did, he said, " We have no record of you putting down a deposit. '' Then he asked me to leave. I tried to contact Wells Fargo about this a few times over the year, but each time my request for my deposit back was unanswered. I simply want my $100.00 deposit back.
