On - -, 2016 - submited a credit inquiry on my behalf unauthorized. I found out about the pull on my credit as I am in the process of purchasing a home and going through the mortgage process. I did not know what " - '' was, but 5 minutes of diligence turned up a result that it was PayPal Credit and that the CFPB had taken action against PayPal Credit for similar practices within the last year. They do not seem to have ceased making unauthorized credit inquiries and I am concerned about the impact it will have on my mortgage application process. I do not currently know the damage but it could be significant if the rates on my mortgage increase based on the decreased credit score.
