discover purchase protection claim # -. The discover credit card offers purchase protection up to $500.00 if stolen or damaged. My product on the claim was " stolen '' and Discover card claim service says it is not stolen, it was " loss '' says Discover Card and stated that I was not do due diligent. When I spoke with the person to report my claim, he says that my claim should be covered as it has been with other customers. However, Discover Card, denied my claim. Other claims was approved and mine was not. They stated that because it was in a public place that they do not cover and Discover Card only protects your purchase when it is taken from your hand or other places than public places. It does not state that in the policy and also someone took it from me.
