Credit card Taking/threatening an illegal action Sued w/o proper notification of suit Arizona

I was informed on -/-/- that I had been sued and that my wages were being garnished. I was advised that a debt from - was purchased by the company - -. I was never served or notified that I was being sued in court. As a result of this I have to quit my job because I do not have sufficient funds to support me and my family and fuel my vehicle to get to work. These people purchased the debt after being written off from the original credit card company and doubled the amount claiming interested. A $12000.00 debt has now become a $58000.00 debt because this company has added an outrageous amount of interest, and fees.
