I received a collection letter from PennCredit in - - regarding a delinquent utility bill from " - - - or - '' for $240.00. In addition, I received approx. 5 calls per day, every day ( even weekends ) regarding this debt. I responded back with a certified letter disputing the debt due to identity theft, and did not hear anything back until today ( - - - ) when I received several calls related to this debt. It would appear that PennCredit chose to ignore the dispute of the debt and is still attempting to collect on it, despite violating FDCPA.
