I had an outstanding balance for a medical bill in the amount of $240.00 that went to collections in -, -. Van Ru Credit Corporation had obtained the debt and seeked payment. I began paying off the bill gradually with a final payment of $70.00 made on - -, -. Once I made the payment, I received no more letters and phone calls. On - -, - at - ET, I received a call from Van Ru Credit Corporation requesting a payment for the amount of $70.00. I repeatedly told the representative that the balance had been paid in full with a Confirmation Numbrer verifying the payment made. The representative had then begun to harass me, completely ignoring that I had mentioned numerous times that I had made the payment. She then completely gave up and transferred me to a Supervisor who then seeked payment for the balance owed. I told the Supervisor 5 Times that I had made the payment and have a confirmation number. The supervisor kept over-talking me every time I said I made the payment. I then told the Supervisor either you accept the Confirmation Number or this call will end. I then gave the Supervisor


a Confirmation Number. The representative kept saying I still owe the money as she could n't find a confirmation number in my record and that I must pay it or the calls will not end. I asked the representative by request a Letter validating the remaining balance owed of $70.00 and she kept ignoring my request and persisted in requesting a payment to be made. I then told the representative that By Law, I am allowed to request a letter in writing verifying and validating the debt owed to Van Ru Credit Corporation. The representative decided to say that a letter will be sent. I asked how long it will take to receive the letter? The representative said " When I get around to it, you will get it. ''
