Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting report or credit score Idaho

I want to freeze my child 's credit reporting files through all - major credit reporting agencies. None of the agencies have documentation that is easy to find regarding this subject. While some states mandate this, others make is very difficult. Where can I get proper information about how to accomplish this freeze - and why is this not the default behavior for children who are n't legally old enough to access their credit report in the first place?
