I straightened out an issue regarding a tax amount that the state of VA thought I owed almost 2 years ago. Now I get a letter from a Penn Credit Corporation stating that I owe the amount. I called and stated that the info they have is inaccurate. They informed me that I was my problem that I had to straighten out with the state of Virginia and give them proof. I do n't want to take the time to go through this again. Is n't there some responsibility placed on the shoulders of the collector and at what point does it become harassment?
