Incorrect information on credit report account status

TransUnion Credit reporting department,

Incorrect information on credit report Account status California

On -/-/2016 - TranUnion is reporting that my vehicle was repossessed by - - even thought I paid off my vehicle in full a couple months ago and - - send me the title documents. I noticed my credit score dropped - points since this error occurred. It is so interesting that when these companies make mistakes it is always in their favor and never in the favor of the consumer. Please help me in getting this matter resolved as I am unable to contact anyone at the credit bureau to correct this error.
