Incorrect information on credit report Account status New Jersey

I fully paid account and closed it. The credit card owed me a balance of $50.00. I had to call and have the amount checked and put in the account. Now the account is being reported as restricted, dropping my credit score during the holiday shopping season. High interest, annual fees, and poor service is why I closed this account. I believe this was a malicious act ... - - account # - Thanks
